Canada, the Most Beautiful Way

Recently, I was able to experience Canada in the most beautiful way.

Flying into Calgary, Alberta and then the next morning hopping onto the famous "Rocky Mountaineer Rail tour" train. Red leaf service is second-class with very comfortable reclining seats with 2 meal services, breakfast and lunch. Gold leaf service is first class with bi-level dome coach with gourmet dining and on the main level and superior comfort on the top level. It was a beautiful time to travel thru the Canadian Rockies with the changing of the leaves and snow-topped mountains. We saw wildlife, eagles, Moose, Elk and coyotes. The train only travels during the day so you don't miss any of the spectacular scenery. Traveling though pristine valleys, over trestle bridges spanning rushing rivers and the famous spiral tunnels. In the evening, we were entertained and stayed at lovely hotels. Arriving into Vancouver we had a great time in one of the most exciting cities in Canada. Great shopping and wonderful nightlife! There are many ways to experience the train from- Vancouver to Victoria, Whistler, Jasper, Banff and Calgary. I liked the fact that one can go for 2 days or design your own itinerary to add-on to a cruise or just a great land Canadian adventure!
