An outstanding trip - the Royal Princess was a very, very pleasant surprise for
the age of the ship. The staff was outstanding; the food was as good as we have
ever had on a cruise ship and the rooms and storage area were larger than many
newer ships. We had been hesitant about sailing on the Royal Princess because of
her age and did go only because of the itinerary - but I would wholeheartedly
recommend the ship to anybody. The only negative I had, and it is a very minor
one, is that the tub shower is a little small. If you have clients who pick a
ship by the size of the tub shower and if they are not a small person, they
won't be happy.
As far as the Le Meridian in London, it is as nice a hotel as we have ever
stayed with regard to the rooms, staff and service. When making reservations for
this property please ask for the "Royal Club Level" as that is the newer section
of the hotel.
