Highlights From Signature Travel Network's 2023 Conference

Every year, Signature Travel Network (an exclusive network of the world’s leading expert travel advisors and suppliers) brings together thousands of members and preferred partners at their annual conference in Las Vegas. In November 2023, nearly 300 members of the FROSCH team – including Plaza Travel – attended the Signature Conference at The Venetian Resort. This was the first year ever that the event was sold out, with over 2,500 total travel industry professionals in attendance.

The conference is an opportunity for like-minded professionals to learn, grow, and network. There are destination and supplier workshops, a keynote speaker, general sessions, and one-on-one meetings with preferred suppliers. Aly Foret, one of Plaza Travel’s Luxury Travel Advisors who attended last year, “loved making connections and getting to know so many various suppliers and vendors during the two days of appointments.” She continued, “It was a whirlwind, but filled with such great updates and informative brand-specific news!” Barbara Ashley, an Independent Travel Advisor at Plaza Travel, shared, “The best part of the conference is always the positive energy! Seeing old friends and making new ones! This year I got to spend it with my niece, Jessica Gibson, who is new to travel! So much fun having her along with me. The absolute best part aside from Jessica this year was the keynote speaker, Ben Nemtin. He was so inspirational for such a young man!”

In addition to all the different learning and networking opportunities, there were also some really fun after parties and dinners! This year, Signature’s after party was at the brand-new Sphere. It was the first full buyout of the Sphere so we had the whole place to ourselves. The Postcards from Earth show was incredible. It was such an amazing experience with breathtaking visuals and immersive sound.

And of course, FROSCH also hosted a cocktail party and dinner at LAVO for staff and advisors attending the conference. Getting to see hundreds of FROSCH colleagues in person was truly a highlight, especially since many of us work from home these days and usually only see each other on Zoom. Doug Orens, Vice President of Plaza Travel, also attended last year and said, “While the seminars, workshops and general sessions are super informative and provide valuable information to help advisors be superstars for their clients, I think one of the best things is being surrounded by so many amazing people from all aspects of the travel industry, building relationships, and sharing experiences with each other.”

The 2023 Signature Conference was one for the books! It reminded many of us why we do what we do and reignited our passion for travel. We learned so much and we’re excited to share our knowledge with you when you’re ready to plan your next trip!
