If you are interested in signing up for Global Entry Day at Plaza Travel in Encino, please follow the steps below so you can get started immediately. We hope to see you on Thursday, March 8, 2018!

What is Global Entry? 
Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Members enter the United States through automatic kiosks at select airports.

You must first complete the application process on your own. Please note, the application is multiple pages and takes approximately 30 minutes per person to complete.

Once you complete the application process, you will receive a CONDITIONALLY APPROVED acceptance with a number that begins with 99- or 98- followed by seven digits from Customs and Border Patrol ("CBP"). Once you receive this number, please e-mail it to [email protected].

Then, Plaza Travel will provide you with a special code so you may choose Plaza Travel on March 8, 2018 for the final interview at our Encino office. Please see below on how to get started.

To get started: 

• Visit https://www.globalentry.gov/ and click How to Apply from the menu on the left hand side of your screen
• Create a Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) account. Regardless of your age, you must have your own TTP account.
• Log in to your TTP account and complete the application.
• There is a $100 fee per applicant. Global Entry is good for 5 years.
• We understand that AMEX Card Members are eligible to receive one statement credit every 5 years for the application fee for either Global Entry or TSA Pre✓^TM  when charged to an eligible card. (Please be sure to verify this information).
• Once you fill out the application, it takes up to 4-6 weeks to get conditionally approved. Once approved, we will need the Global Membership Number from you, which will start with a "98" or "99" followed by seven digits.

Please e-mail your conditional Global Membership Number and your preferred time for your appointment to [email protected]. We will only reserve a time once you have been conditionally approved.
